Infineon's new radar MMIC RASIC™ CTRX8191F enables the next generation of 4D and HD imaging radars |

Munich, Germany – 18 December 2024 – The ability to detect pedestrians in dense urban environments is currently a challenge to enable the next level of automated and autonomous driving. To meet the demands of SAE-defined L2+ to L4 autonomous driving, the development of a new generation of 4D and imaging radars is crucial. That’s why Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) is releasing the final samples of its RASIC™ CTRX8191F, a new state-of-the-art 28nm radar MMIC. The CTRX8191F was specifically designed to meet the requirements of automated and autonomous driving and offers high performance at low system cost. As a result, the device enables the development of next-generation radar imaging modules. |

Infineon and EVE Energy collaborate to enable the next generation of battery management systems |

Munich, Germany – 13 December 2024 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) and Eve Energy Co., Ltd. (EVE Energy), a manufacturer of lithium batteries, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The two companies aim at enabling comprehensive battery management system solutions for the automotive market. As part of the MoU, Infineon will supply a complete chipset, including microcontroller units, balancing and monitoring ICs, power management ICs, drivers, MOSFETs, controller area networks and sensor products. Equipped with these solutions, EVE Energy's battery management system can provide high safety, high reliability and optimized cost. It also enables more accurate monitoring, protection and optimization of electric vehicle battery performance and improves driving experience and energy efficiency. |

Infineon plans to implement ISO/SAE 21434 product compliance for TRAVEO™ T2G automotive microcontrollers |

Munich, Germany – 10 December 2024 – The increasing connectivity of road vehicles leads to a growing need for cybersecurity. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has therefore adopted the R155 and R156 regulations, which define the cybersecurity requirements for OEMs. OEMs who want to sell new vehicles in UNECE-regulated markets must hold a valid type approval certificate and implement cybersecurity practices throughout the supply chain to minimize the risk of attack throughout the vehicle's lifecycle. The TRAVEO™ T2G Automotive Microcontroller family for Body and Cluster from Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) features a Hardware Security Module (HSM) that is capable of executing secured boot and ensuring secured isolation of HSM applications and data. To further enhance this, Infineon plans to retrospectively implement product compliance for the TRAVEO T2G automotive microcontroller family with the latest automotive cybersecurity standard ISO/SAE 21434. All necessary documentation, including the Cybersecurity Manual and Cybersecurity Case Report, will be provided to customers. |

Infineon wins German Sustainability Award 2025 |

Munich/Duesseldorf – 29 November 2024 Infineon Technologies AG – has won the German Sustainability Award in the "Electrical Engineering and Electronics" category. "The jury is of the opinion that Infineon has assumed a leading role in the field of sustainability and serves the sector as a 'beacon' for successful transformation," the judges said in their statement.
